Bye Bye Purple Sweater

Today I gave away the really sweet purple sweater that my oldest sister gave me at Christmas. It’s a beautiful, cuddly neat long sweater with two big buttons, grape colored and I’ve really liked wearing it.  I gave it to the sound healing  little hottie yoga teacher whose class I go to on Monday mornings. She must be in her early thirties, is beautiful. I’ve seen her wear a sweater that was similar to the one I got. I offered it to her at class, and she took it.  I’m happy it has a good home.

Only my sister could tune into a style that is current and buy something so tactile and good looking to send to me. I have to hand it to her, she’s good though she’s sent me a lot of stuff that doesn’t fit because she has to guess at my size. You see, we aren’t really on authentic  speaking terms. She’s never been interested in knowing the real me and we never have contact.  So I’m happy I’ve been able to enjoy the sweater she got me and pass it on lovingly when I was ready to.  I’ll take a sweater connection over nothing.

About Shirley

I started this blog to expand and explore my rhythm horizons as a hand drummer. That exploration includes touching on the rest of my life and inner world as authentically and truthfully as possible.
